Explore First and Second World War encampments, then watch battle re-enactments and discover the role of horses during the war in the main arena. Get to grips with our wartime handling objects, see military vehicles and learn more about wartime life through talks, archive films and family activities.

Highlights include:

Military encampments from both the First and Second World Wars
Tribute to the animals of WWI show in the Main Arena
Vintage singers the Ragtime Dolls
Battle drills and reenactments
‘Make Do And Mend’ demonstrations
Horse logging demonstrations
Table-top wargames
Family activities and crafts.
