Robert the Bruce Day

Join us for a day of King Robert the Bruce’s History and Heritage with the Strathleven Artizans. Making history fun is what the Strahtleven Artizans are passionate about.

Dressed in traditional costumes and chainmail you will be able to see how King Robert the Bruce and his men would have dressed, the weapons they would have used including an exact replica of the Kings sword. You can join in too, with costumes for both adults and children to try on, you can be one of the King’s men for the day. Historical re-enactment enthusiasts are invited to come in their own costumes too!

Battle Re-enactments throughout the day.

See King Robert the Bruce being crowned at one of the two re-enactments which will take place at 1.00pm and 3.00pm.

Axe Throwing demonstrations by Braveheart axe throwing champions.

‘Bling Your Sword’ workshops for children – decorate your sword in your own artistic style (charge/donation may apply)

Admission Prices:

Adults: £7.50
Concessions: £6.50
Children: £5.50 (4 – 15 years old)

Families: £25.00 (2 adults and up to 3 children)
