The Govan Stones. The Govan site is the ‘ground zero’ of the tenth century Kingdom of Strathclyde,
See reproduction artefact from the area of the Kingdom of Strathclyde, and the wider region, including weapons, clothing, jewellery and tools from some early tenth-century viking burials, as well as Anglo-Saxon, Gaelic, and Brittonic material culture.

‘have a go’ activities for you to try your hand at, including; spinning wool, nalebinding (like Viking knitting, but easier!), early medieval board games, weapons handling, and hands-on sessions on laying out a Viking burial for a funeral!
