The 200th anniversary of the death of James Watt is being marked by a special event at a place where he worked.
“Watt A Day!” will celebrate the inventor at Kinneil Estate, Bo’ness – home to a surviving James Watt cottage workshop.
Special activities have been lined up in the afternoon of Sunday, August 25 to complement free tours of Kinneil House (home of Watt’s business partner John Roebuck).

Summary: Celebrate one of the greatest Scots in history at Kinneil Estate, where he developed his revolutionary invention! Join a guided tour of the historic house, meet Watt in his cottage workshop, explore the park with our scavenger trail and take part in family-friendly games and activities.
