Glasgow HEMA is one of Glasgow’s premier clubs dedicated to the study of Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA). HEMA is a sport that takes historical manuals on swordsmanship and other martial practices and recreates their art. At Glasgow HEMA we primarily focus on the German School of Fencing and 18th Century British Swordsmanship.
